I Stand | Victor Benoun

Victor Benoun

The beginning of each year is not just a time to plan and set new goals. It is also a time to get clear on what you stand for, and what you insist on to be in and part of your life. Please don’t confuse this with saying what you won’t stand for. That’s easy, and doesn’t take much thought to say, “I won’t stand for this,” or “I won’t stand for that.”

It takes a lot more time and clarity to determine what your life must contain in order for it to be complete and to be your best life. I would like to suggest you start now and get really clear on your core values and decide what is really important to you. It can be difficult to get what you want if you don’t know what that is. I’ll share part of my list with you:

I stand for love and with my loved ones
I stand with my friends and for friendship
I stand for my four-legged-friends and will do all I can for them
I stand for trust, truth, and honesty
I stand for giving my clients my best and desire their appreciation in return
I stand for adventure and new experiences
I stand for reaching for the stars and falling flat on my face
I stand for getting up and starting over and succeeding
I stand for self esteem, appreciation and gratitude
I stand for passion, happiness and joy
I stand for making this the best day ever and for future days

I would like to encourage you to start your own list. Decide what you stand for, and if you feel so inclined please share. If you are not sure where to begin see if the attached video inspires you. Start your list with these 2 words: I Stand!
